As part of its bid to re-ignite debate on banning the use of nuclear weapons, the Australian Red Cross asked supporters of its 'Make Nuclear Weapons the Target' campaign for permission to use their Facebook and Twitter accounts to send a one-time message to their friends and followers, creating a social media explosion.
I came up with the concept of a simulated nuclear blast in the heart of the user's city. The simulation also plotted their affected Facebook friends on the explosion map.
